Vibration motors are vibrating force supply for whole shaker. Nowadays, all shakers will be mounted vibrator motor to achieve different vibration mode

Vibration motors type

Per working condition, there are none explosion proof and explosion proof type; Per motor design and appearance, there are long motor and short motor; Per hazardous environment, there are Zone 1 and Zone 2, Zone 21, 22, and so on; Per application or industry, there are civil construction design, oil and gas drilling devision, also the mining use. Different types also reflect on motor material, the casing the components. Then the installation way, vertical or lateral.

Considering all details such as motor speed, vibration strength, torque, voltage and frequency we’ll find there are hundreds of vibration motor. Furthermore, vibrating motors conform to different codes satisfy different user requirement. There are ATEX motor, UL motor, IEC motor, DGMS, GOST and so on.

Working condition differs from each other. Optimal vibration motors are various on centrifugal force, power, and so on. Vibrator motor specification for user selection including model number, the base frame, certification,  static torque, vibration strength, weight, electrical system

If we are not sure about model selection we can inquire manufacturer for exact calculation. And this analysis or calculation is based on equipment weight, shale shaker flow rate we expect, power input system. For example, shaker weighs about 1400kg and hold capacity up to 140m³/h. Power input is 400V/50Hz/3Ph then recommended motor power is 2.5HP. Its power and centrifugal force are sufficient enough for such condition

Special requirement on vibrator motor

Solids control shaker is typical equipment in oilfield. So, explosion proof is necessary requirement. Some clients prefer powerful centrifugal force with less rotation. Thus the 6 pole and 8 pole motors are better for them

Some users will request 380V 60Hz instead of 50 Hz, 415V/50Hz and so on. Many clients will request special color. Manufacturer will consider this feasibility under quantity and practical manufacture schedule.
