Screw conveyor description

Screw conveyor helps much on connecting solids control and waste management.  Generally speaking a screw conveyor or auger feeder is a device that combined a rotating helical screw blade, called a “flighting“, usually within a U-tube, to move liquid or granular materials. They are used in many bulk handling industries. Auger feeders operated nowadays are often used horizontally or at a slight incline as an efficient way to move high solid content materials, including food waste, wood chips, aggregates, cereal grains, animal feed, boiler ash, meat and bone meal, municipal solid waste, and many others. The design of the conveyor is dependent on operating conditions, the type of transported material and its properties.

Custom built specs on drilling waste screw conveyor

The custom built features including the length, with shaft or not, incline or tilt angle, the level height, or support leg length, flexible support or not, the motor voltage, fixed frequency or variable frequency, color and so on

We just proposed a screw conveyor for drilling site to overseas client. They requested 9000-10000mm length of main auger, the level is adjustable by the lock rods but the max height is 4000mm. The diameter is 14″, rotation speed is variable with 60rpm at least

The support legs should be reinforced by incline support beam as triangle shape with ground leg parts. This will protect whole screw conveyor out of tilting or falling down.
