Shaker screens dimension difference between replacement and originals

Shaker screens dimension here is the size of shale shaker screen panel. Length, width, height/thickness, and so on. Dimensions given by manufacturer differ from another one.

We know there are hundreds of shale shaker makes and models. Almost shaker manufacturers will design special shaker screen suit their own shaker. So the shaker screen dimensions are hundreds of as well.

Usually, we meter shaker screens dimension on length, width, thickness/height. That means from side to side, the flow direction, frame height, or whole panel thickness. Take King Cobra series shaker screen as sample, from side to side it is 49.25″ approximately. In the direction of flow, it is about 25″. Thicks about 33mm in total.

FLC500 series shaker screen, from side to side longs about 41-3/8″. The direction of flow wides about 27 3/8″.  Panel thicks about 5mm. Not overall height, that means no hook side, neither the sealing rubber side included in.

On shaker screen, there are also other dimensions. Such as punched plate of screen back frame thickness, the supporting frame tube, the penetrated hole size on plate, the rubber size, and so on

For hook strip shaker screens dimension, the hook height, hook width, any opening or not. Opening size and distance between each other.  For under hooked screen, the size of back hole for tensioning finger is also important.

We may find for same shaker screen or replacement screen panel, different manufacturer provide different dimension. Actually, there must be tolerance for any manufacture way. The screen panel dimension is also measured with little dissidence.

Shaker screens dimension is a reference for user. Mostly, replacement shaker screen manufacturer are able to provide completely interchangeable screen with original. Although there may be little difference on dimension. Aipu shaker screens are all interchangeable with original shaker screens. Some clients will also doubt about our dimensions difference. When they use our screens, there is no problem at all
