For mud process, the polyurethane screen can be used in HDD mud recycling, the piling desanding, and the slurry separation. We ever designed many system and equipment used in micron tunneling desanding plant.

Different mud process

For drilling, no matter vertical or horizontal, the drilling mud process means drilling fluids recycling or circulation. It will help enhance efficiency and cut down cost. For piling and tunneling, the mud process means solid-liquid separation.

Oilfield well drilling, we usually don’t use polyurethane screen, especially the hook strap soft one. HDD, Piling, tunneling or trenchless we will use the urethane screen including soft panel and the framed plate.

In piling and tunneling separation plant, clients prefer the hard framed urethane panels to separate solids out of liquid. Such panels strength is sufficient for dewatering shaker, and the solid to be removed

Polyurethane screens are mainly used in mineral industry. Such as beneficiation, coal washing, and so on. Rarely urethane screen panel used in oilfield drilling mud process.

Polyurethane screen is more popular since high flexibility and more durability. It is anti-abrasion in many tough working condition. And almost polyurethane shaker screen are hook strip type. Famous brand urethane screen is Derrick Stack sizer. The size is 702x1044mm.

1.On the base of meeting the size distribution, the mesh slot is made into the shape of rectangle. For example, the aperture is designed as 0.1mm *2.59mm to customize the size distribution of 0.1mm, which guarantees the ratio of qualified fine material and improves the screening efficiency.

It is mainly used to replace Derrick screening machines polyurethane screens. The scree hole size is described with mm from 0.045~1mm.

Different apertures will have different result or efficiency, of course the price will be different as well.

Other model screens made of polyurethane

Besides the screens with hook strap sides, there are panel type screens made of high quality polyurethane. Such screens are mostly used in the sand washing and other materials with large content water. Not too much viscosity, but the gravity may be much heavy.

And for some clients, they process the slurry or waste water by such screen panels, too. One the shaker deck, there are many panels of small polyurethane screen put together. They will be pressed by each other and touched by the plugs between small pieces. Such screens provide rather long service life. But the separation point or aperture is not as fine as S.S one.
