Polyurethane shaker screens are mainly used in mining industry, such as iron ore, coal, etc. also in the dewatering project. Polyurethane screen sizes are described as 0.075mm or o.1mm, or 0.05mm, etc. But for common shaker screen we will mark them as 80 mesh, or API 100, etc.
Polyurethane screen is not made by wire mesh woven by stainless steel wire but it will request mould and heaters, etc. to make. Presently, popular polyurethane size is 702x1044mm. It is mainly used to replace Derrick screening machines polyurethane screens. The scree hole size is described with mm from 0.045~1mm.
Different apertures will have different result or efficiency, of course the price will be different as well.

Other model screens made of polyurethane
Besides the screens with hook strap sides, there are panel type screens made of high quality polyurethane. Such screens are mostly used in the sand washing and other materials with large content water. Not too much viscosity, but the gravity may be much heavy.
And for some clients, they process the slurry or waste water by such screen panels, too. One the shaker deck, there are many panels of small polyurethane screen put together. They will be pressed by each other and touched by the plugs between small pieces. Such screens provide rather long service life. But the separation point or aperture is not as fine as S.S one.
