Hard frame shaker screen is the screen panel with steel frame or support steel frame at backside. Upper tensioned screen is the hook strip screen.

Hard frame shaker screen

Nowadays, at oilfield use, there are hundreds of shaker screens. For hard frame screen pane, popular ones are NOV Cobra series, VNM series, VSM series, LCM series, DP258 series, and so on. Black Thunder, 50, 500, 5000 etcetera series from FSI. KPT series from KEMTRON. Also many other models shaker screen, such as the Vortex, and so on

We usually make screen stick or adhere on punched plate welded on steel tubes. Punched plate can be with square hole and hexagonal holes. However, more and more clients prefer our square holes with thinner beam between holes for larger filtration area and conductance

Hard frame shaker screen

Prior to sticking screen on hard frame, we'll do pre-tension on screen cloth. Such operation will lead better appearance and enhance filtration efficiency. Also prevent possible failure caused by loose cloth.

Upper tensioned shaker screen

We know it's hook strip screen. It can be soft hook strip or hard hook strip. The soft hook strip screen can be used on normal large shale shaker. Also the mini bottom shaker on desander or desilter will use the downside tension screen, it is soft hook strip screen.

The hard hook strip screen we'll call it as flat panel screen. The punched holes on panel can be square, rectangular and hexagonal as well. But the soft hook will be diamond shape.

Upper tension screen panel

It will be tensed by draw bar with tension bolts tensed. If we use the tension screen for mini shaker on hydrocyclone separator, we will tensioned screen under the screen cloth by locking on small shaker deck.
