Double deck shale shaker advantages

Relatively to single deck shakers, double decked one holding 2 times screen area than common one, usually. Thus we'll get better dry discharge or finer solid particles. Aipu common shaker are Hunter-D series and Hunter-MG series. Including 3-panel and 4-panel screen type

If we use double deck shaker, there will be 6-panel and 8-panel screen. And after up deck screen panel filtration, the down layer screen will do further filtration with dryer cuttings.

Disadvantages of double deck shaker

For double deck shale shaker, we have to install the lower deck screen prior to up deck screen installation. But when we replace screen on low deck we have to uninstall the up layer screen panel

Furthermore, it's not easy to know lower deck shaker screen failure during operation. And a bit inconvenient to install screen on low bed. Double deck shaker must be more heavy than single deck shaker. Thus we may request vibration motors with larger power. The cost of double deck shale shaker is more expensive than common single decked one

Operation of double deck shakers

During operations, double deck shaker is same as single deck shaker. Per different clients' demand, we can design it as two deck at same angle. Or there is angle difference between decks

For angle difference, it can be 1-3°, or customized degree. For example, if the up bed is 0°, the lower deck is -3° or -1°. And this may result from different application. Screen panels on double deck shale shaker can be same type or different type
